RSS Feeds: Building Traffic, Researching Users, and Monetization - Followup

I wanted to write a followup article to a post about RSS feeds that I have recently written.  In short, I wanted to show that linking to your RSS feed in a post so users can subscribe works.  Below is a screenshot of my feedburner statistics:

If you look closely, there is a decent jump in the number of subscribed users from Tuesday to Wednesday.  This IS attributed to the post about it, and the subscriber number went from about 11-13 to 18-21.  While that does not seem like much, it is about a 60% increase in the number of subscribers.
