I took off work on Friday at 2pm to go wait in line for the Apple iPhone. I was pretty excited - I watched all the videos, had been reading the top articles about the iPhone, plus my old phone is pretty much dead. I strolled into the store at around 6:15pm and was met with awesome AT&T customer support and sales. I was out at about 6:30 with my new 8 GB iPhone.
Overall, it’s amazing. The colors, the resolution, the features, the web browsing - everything. I am really impressed with the speed of the EDGE network, because I was worried about it being to slow. The typing took a day or two to get used to, but now I’m pretty good at it. The phone is easy to use, clear, and I get pretty good service (which was one of my main concerns).
Overall, I’m really impresses and glad I bought it. I’ve used it extensively - waiting for a movie to start at the theater, pulling up traffic reports and changing my route to the Tigers game, and more.
My only problem is that it doesn’t work with my works email address, but it does work with my personal email.
