Over the past few months I’ve been experimenting (informally) on how to get a site indexed and ranking in Google within 24 hours. I was able to successfully achieve front page listings on Google in 14 hours for a 2 word term that had 5,000 exact matches. It wasn’t a major keyword, but […]

BUMPzee Internet Marketing Community Update

A little more than a month ago, I created an internet marketing community on BUMPzee. It’s grown slightly and now has 13 blogs, with a nice selection of general marketing, seo, sem, and affiliate. It also has 16 members and nearly 700 entries. I’m looking for other internet marketing blogs to join […]

I was looking at statistical information on this blog today, and noticed I received 6 visitors over the past 2 weeks for the term: site:.com inurl:blog “recent readers”

It looks as if it is one person who visits the site and immediately exits the site. My guess is an automated system is visiting sites […]

eBay Confirmed Buy of StumbleUpon

eBay announced today, it’s acquisition of StumbleUpon in a $75million all cash deal. There have been lots of rumors and reports over the past month or so, and I had posted back in April that eBay was going to acquire StumbleUpon, though the speculated price was just shy of $50 million.
TechCrunch writes:
Although you can […]

Stoopid Pictures Can Have a Positive Impact

Creating stupid, and sometimes annoying, images and other content can have positive impacts on a website or company. Take the following picture for example:

While I know for a fact this image was not made by Crikey’s or a company representing them, it provides a perfect example of using an image for marketing.  It contains […]
