Today, Text-Link-Ads launched a new service called post level text link ads. It is essentially HIGHLY targeted text link ads. Advertisers can target specific blog posts on specific blogs. Text-Link-Ads says that post level text link ads:
- Target highly specific popular blog posts.
- Maximum of one ad below the post.
- Have a full 80 character title and 150 letter description.
- Be positioned directly at the end of top posts making it ideal for click throughs.
- Each ad will be on a single page only.
Overall, this service is great. While the traffic might be low to older blog posts, the cost is extremely inexpensive. PageRank 5 blog posts were usually just $10.
Also, many top blogs rank very well in Technorati, so a backlink may also increase Technorati rankings as well. The long anchor text and description is also fairly unique to the industry and may play a key roll in search engine optimization.
