The Weekender: Google Bashers Shut Up, Problogger Stuff and Digg Tips

Ahmed Bilal over at Performancing.com suggests that Google bashers stop their whining because a Google hand-edit is inevitable for many web sites.

Instead he suggests removing dependence on Google by developing systems that allow for earnings with or without Google rankings.

Darren Rowse of Problogger has an excellent post about building relationships by monitoring what other bloggers are writing about. Also check out his video of the week where he answers questions from his readers.

Neil Patel of acsseo.com tells how he became a top Digg user in this WebProNews video…

Enjoy the weekend.

Good selection, I’m a big fan of Problogger.

Hi, do any of you bloggers know anything about the viral widget called BlogRush. Apparantly it was just launched yesterday.

I found it here in the top of the right column at this Ning site.
http://www.Linkedin-Entrepreneurs.com

It’s supposed to give you reciprical traffic based on reading the content of your page like Adsense does (but it doesn’t pay anything, just gives free traffic).

It says you actually get like 10x or more traffic back, due to some exponential growth aspect of it. (multi tier affiliate based on who signs under you?)

Does this kind of thing really work? I wouldn’t say no to free traffic.
