You may soon notice something is different in the candy aisle. The new Smarties boxes are now all white.
The idea is that the white Smarties package is a blank slate for you to color and design yourself. They have launched a companion web page with a flash based design tool. The winning designs will show up in stores in 2008. I’m sure these new designs will have consumers doing a double take and maybe even reaching for the box.
