It seems RSS feeds and blogs are starting to catch on in the marketing and corporate world. For example, the marketing team over at Quicken Loans has a Quicken Loans Blog, called What’s The Diff. While traffic seems to be low (see Alexa graph comparison to this site below), the design is professional, the companies logo and slogans are easily found, and you can even apply for a job or get some Quicken clothing for submitting a post. Not only that, but they also have Technorati tags, buttons to subscribe to the RSS feed, and more.

I expect to see a lot more companies (large and small) start blogs that are not related to company news. More personal and more reader friendly, like the Quicken Loans blog. A company blog is great for branding, linking to the company site (among other SEO benefits), and encouraging employee (and user) input.
Please comment and share other corporate blogs.
