Agloco Viewbar to be Released Monday

Agloco announced today via it’s blog that:

the first download emails [for the Viewbar] will be going out Monday morning California time

The Viewbar will be available for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista and will work with IE (Internet Explorer) or Firefox browsers. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to test it out as I have a Mac. Agloco has been having a number of issues recently and it makes me nervous to read “have made a workaround regarding the ad server problem” rather than something like “after extensive programming, restructuring, and testing the ad server problem has been isolated and corrected.” A “workaround” makes it seem like a quick fix and something a company should not be doing.

Check out the previous Agloco coverage or download the free Agloco banner.

In somewhat related news, I have 98 people in my network, which is just 2 shy of my goal to have 100 people in my network when the Viewbar launches.

I’m disappointed with Agloco. I’ve had the bar open for days now, but they only say I’ve been viewing it for 5 hours. Am I not doing something right? I thought that just having it live on my computer was enough… help?

Agloco will only count 5 hours per month.
