I’ve never used abrite until recently, but decided to give them a try, because a number of keywords I was targeting were going for over $5 per click on adwords. I signed up (was charged nearly $5 to activate my account) and created a few ads. The ads were for a client, who runs a popular arcade site. One of my biggest frustrations, was that the calculator was completely off.

The calculator stated that I would be using my daily budget with what seemed little troubles. However, after the advertisement when live, I noticed my conversion rate was 0.01% and that I was getting 0 to 2 clicks per day.
My next major frustration with adbrite was their lack of communication. They do not send emails to advertisers when their campaigns are live after being approved and because of this, advertisers could be running up a large bill without knowing.
One of the positive points of adbrite is their conversion tracking tools are much less obtrusive than Google Adwords conversion tracking tools.
